RODTNES art prints reflect Mette Rødtnes' parallel practice as an architect and interior designer. Across every discipline, her work rests on one conviction: what we surround ourselves with shapes how we feel. The things we carry, the clothes we wear, the spaces we live in. The prints are a natural extension of that idea.

Each print begins as a photograph of an object or a surface that is either natural in itself, or that has come into being through processes beyond human control. The motif is captured so close that the subject loses its name. Lines, tones and textures are no longer details within a larger whole; they become the subject itself. What was once an insignificant detail in an everyday scene - something we pass without a glance - suddenly becomes something in its own right.

The prints are made for interior spaces, homes, workplaces, rooms where people spend their days. They are not designed as statements, but as quiet presences. Something to return to. Something that rewards a closer look.
