RODTNES art prints grow out of Mette Rødtnes' parallel practice as an architect and interior designer. Across every discipline, her work rests on the conviction that what we surround ourselves with shapes how we feel. The things we carry, the clothes we wear, the spaces we live in. The art prints are a natural extension of that thinking.
The collections differ in motif and mood, but they share a common origin: Mette's fascination with texture, colour and composition as they occur in the world around us; in materials formed by nature, time or chance, rather than by design. Each collection explores this in its own way.
